क़तरे में समुंदर को समोने की अदा सीख
ये सब माह-ओ-अंजुम मिरे वास्ते हैं
मगर इस ज़मीं पर मैं क़ैद-ए-जहाँ हूँ
शौक़-ए-मंज़िल मुझे यूँ ले के उड़ा
ख़ार देखे न रहगुज़र देखी
अब दिल में आरज़ू-ए-चमन ही नहीं रही
क़िस्से सुने जो हम ने क़फ़स में बहार के
