Sheikh Altaf was Born as Mohd Altaf Sheikh in June 1998 in the District Reasi of Jammu and Kashmir. He completed his schooling in the government. Higher Secondary School, Mahore, in 2017 and graduated with a B.A. from the Government. Degree College Udhampur (University of Jammu) in 2021. At present, he is serving in the Department of Horticulture, Government of Jammu and Kashmir. Initially, he used the pen name Altaf Sheikh Ayyab, which he later changed to Sheikh Altaf.
