Profile of Syed Tajuddin Shakir
Syed Shah Tajuddin ‘Shakir’ Qadri was a revered Indian Sufi saint of the Munemi-Qadri order, born in Sheikhpura, Bihar. He belonged to the noble spiritual lineage of Hazrat Makhdoom Syed Adam Sufi Chishti of the renowned Pakki Dargah, Patna.
He established the Khanqah Munemiya-Shakiriya at Pind Sharif, which grew into a prominent centre of Sufi learning and spiritual guidance. He was a disciple and khaleefa of Hazrat Syed Shah Ali Hussain ‘Baaqi’ of Simli Sharif.
After his demise on 27 December 1921, his son Syed Shah Qamrul Hoda ‘Qamar’ Shakiri succeeded him as Sajjada Nashin, continuing and expanding his spiritual legacy. His notable work, Shahood-e-Wahdat, reflects his devotion and includes Naat and Manqabat
