اپنے جذبات سے جدا ہونا
کتنا آسان ہے خدا ہونا
سخت مشکل تھا خانۂ دل میں
میری ہر سانس کا صدا ہونا
آج ہم خود سے دور ہو بیٹھے
تجھ سے ممکن نہ تھا جدا ہونا
اندر اندر بھرا ہوا ہے زہر
دل دھڑکنا ہے دل زدہ ہونا
میری لہریں خلاف ہیں مجھ سے
آج مشکل ہے ناخدا ہونا
