Seeking an excuse or pretext;—one who seeks an excuse, &c.:—bahānā-sāz, s.m. One who makes excuses; pretender, shammer, impostor:—bahāna karnā, v.n. To make an excuse; to pretend, sham, feign; to evade, shuffle.
