H چين चैन ćain [S. शान्तिः], s.m. Ease, comfort, relief, repose, rest, quiet, calm, peace, tranquillity (syn. ārām:—ćain uṛāna, v.n.=ćain kaṛnā, q.v.:—ćain paṛnā, v.n. Ease or comfort, &c. to be obtained, to be at ease or in comfort, &c.:—ćain-ćān, s.m.=ćaiṅ:—ćain-se, adv. At ease, comfortably; in peace, &c. (=ārām-se):—ćain karnā, v.n. To take ease, enjoy oneself, make oneself comfortable, &c.:—ćain-may, vulg. ćain-maʼī, adj. At rest, reposed, tranquil, calm:—rain-ćain, s.m. Nights of ease or peace, &c.; nights of pleasure or enjoyment, &c.
