ہوا اس دشت میں چلتی بہت ہے
جمانا رنگ اس دنیا سے سیکھے
کہ ہے تو کچھ نہیں بنتی بہت ہے
اسے اک پل کبھی رہنے نہ دینا
پھپھوندی قلب پر جمتی بہت ہے
کہ ساری عمر انگارے چنے ہیں
ہتھیلی ہاتھ کی جلتی بہت ہے
سہیلؔ احمد سمجھ کر صرف کرنا
ذرا سی زندگی لگتی بہت ہے
