ab dard ka suraj kabhi Dhalta hi nahin hai

kisi ka chehra kisi par saja nahin deta

dekho usne qadam qadam par sath diya begane ka

dil ke har zaKHm ko palkon pe sajaya to gaya

su-e-maqtal koi dam sath chale

hoshyar kar raha hai gajar jagte raho

shahr ka shahr salibon se saja hai ab ke

raunaq hi nahin uski hum ruh-o-rawan bhi hain
