ḳhud apnī haqīqat se ye be-ḳhabarī kyuuñ hai

Asad Multani was born on 13 December, 1902. He received his education at Mission School, Multan and Government College, Lahore. In 1926, he joined the Government of India Secretariat. Following the Partition of India, he migrated to Pakistan and worked for the ministry of External Affairs.

Asad Multani wrote ghazals and nazms but also practised other classical forms of poetry. He died on 17 November 1969 at Rawalapindi.
