zindagi ek tilismat ka aaina hai

KHud se milne ke liye bhes badal kar jaana

fasil-e-shukr mein hain sabr ke hisar mein hain

jo mai-kade mein bahakte hain laDkhaDate hain

sahar qarib hai KHalwat mahak rahi hogi

haalat ke dabao se haijaan mein rahe

muqabil apne haqiqat ka aaina rakhna

mai-KHana-e-hayat ka anjam de gaya

aah be-gana-e-asar to nahin
