Profile of Ilyas Ahmad Mujeebi
Identity: Author of Seerah (biographical) and reformative literature for children.
Ilyas Ahmad Mujeebi was born on January 9, 1898, in Kaimganj, Uttar Pradesh. He rendered distinguished services in children's literature, Seerah writing, and reformative essays. A major portion of his academic and literary endeavors focused on the upbringing, moral guidance, and religious awakening of children, which made him renowned as a creator of quality children's literature in his era. Most of his books were published by Maktaba Jamia.
He authored numerous books on the Seerah of the Prophet (PBUH) and the lives of the Companions, aimed at introducing children and beginner readers to the Seerah in an easy and effective manner. Additionally, he wrote stories derived from Alf Laila (One Thousand and One Nights) and other engaging tales.
Death: He passed away on January 3, 1958.
