Profile of Zakiya Sultana Nayar
Zakia Sultana Nayyer, Born in 1924, belonged to an educated Landloard family from Moradabad U.P, India. She was the wife of famous poet Saghar Nizami, and was also a part of the editorial team of his Urdu magazine "Asia". She wrote both poetry and prose. Compiled "Naya Raag", an anthology of poetry published in "Asia", but she used the name Zakia Sultana Saghar in this book. She Wrote memories of her husband under the title "Beete lamhe-yaadon ke chirag".
