Lord, Life of my Faith, the One who Speaks with Me, sahab
تمہاری یاد میں تارے شمار کرتی ہوں
نہ جانے ختم کہاں ہو یہ سلسلہ صاحب
I count the stars in your memory
Who knows where this series will end, sahab
کتاب زیست کا عنوان بن گئے ہو تم
ہمارے پیار کی دیکھو یہ انتہا صاحب
You have become the title of the book of life
Such is the extent of my love, sahab
تمہارا چہرہ مرے عکس سے ابھرتا ہے
نہ جانے کون بدلتا ہے آئینہ صاحب
Your face rises out my reflection
Who knows who changes the mirror, saheb
رہ وفا میں ذرا احتیاط لازم ہے
ہر ایک گام پہ ہوتا ہے حادثہ صاحب
A little caution is necessary on the path of loyalty
At every steps an accident takes place, sahab
سیاہ رات ہے مہتاب بن کے آ جاؤ
یہ اندراؔ کے لبوں پر ہے التجا صاحب
Come, like the moon on a dark night
