Tauheed Zeb, whose real name is Shah Zeb Nazuk, was born on April 16, 1997, in Mouza Taranda Mir Khan, Tehsil Liaquatpur, District Rahim Yar Khan, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. He received his early education there and completed his M.Sc. in Botany from Government Sadiq Egerton College, Bahawalpur. The creative use of unconventional vocabulary, an awareness of the contemporary global situation, spontaneity of expression, and particularly the opening couplets (matla) of his ghazals, reflect his creative anxiety, restlessness, quest, and dissatisfaction with traditional molds. This very dissatisfaction also leads to a direct mode of expression in his poems. His long poem "Bakhtawar" and several others, despite their romantic ambiance, are not merely romantic. They may be echoes of a personal experience, but through his creative lens, they have harmonized with the collective human experience.
