sivā.e gul ke vo shoḳh añkhiyāñ kisī taraf ko nahīñ haiñ rāġhib

to barg-e-nargis upar bajā hai likhūñ jo apne sajan kuuñ patiyāñ

siwae gul ke wo shoKH ankhiyan kisi taraf ko nahin hain raghib

to barg-e-nargis upar baja hai likhun jo apne sajan kun patiyan

buland āvāz se ghaḌiyāl kahtā hai ki ai ġhāfil

kaTī ye bhī ghaḌī tujh umr se aur nahīñ chetā

buland aawaz se ghaDiyal kahta hai ki ai ghafil

kaTi ye bhi ghaDi tujh umr se aur tu nahin cheta
