ai sard-mehr tujh siiñ ḳhūbāñ jahāñ ke kāñpe

ḳhurshīd thartharāyā aur maah dekh haalā

ai sard-mehr tujh sin KHuban jahan ke kanpe

KHurshid thartharaya aur mah dekh haala

daaġh siiñ kyuuñ na dil ujālā ho

chashm raushnī siyāhī hai

dagh sin kyun na dil ujala ho

chashm ki raushni siyahi hai

divāne dil kuuñ mere shahr señ hargiz nahīñ bantī

agar jañgal jaanā ho to us baat sab ban

diwane dil kun mere shahr sen hargiz nahin banti

agar jangal ka jaana ho to us ki baat sab ban ja
