chori se do ghaDi jo nazare hue to kya

 

pyar apne pe jo aata hai to kya karte hain

 

mahshar mein chalte chalte karunga ada namaz

 

kyun shauq baDh gaya ramazan mein singar ka

 

jumbish mein zulf-e-pur-shikan ek is taraf ek us taraf

 

aaftab aae chamak kar jo sar-e-jam-e-sharab

 

khaDe hain musa uThao parda dikhao tum aab-o-tab-e-ariz

 

koi hasin hai muKHtar-e-kar-KHana-e-ishq

 

shab-e-mah mein jo palang par mere sath soe to kya hue

 

samajh ke hur baDe naz se lagai choT

 

nikli jo ruh ho gae ajza-e-tan KHarab

 

kya roz-e-hashr dun tujhe ai dad-gar jawab

 

wo para hun main jo aag mein hun wo barq hun jo sahab mein hun

 

qibla-e-ab-o-gil tumhin to ho

 

wo but pari hai nikalen na baal-o-par tawiz

 

ho gae muztar dekhte hi wo hilti zulfen phirti nazar hum

 

main hi matlub KHud hun tu hai abas

 

zamzama nala-e-bulbul Thahre

 

ru-e-taban mang mu-e-sar dhuan batti charagh
